Meet Ella
Hi, I’m Ella! I started my tattooing journey in 2021 during my senior year of high school. I apprenticed in Cornelius, North Carolina, and then took my career to Knoxville, TN, when I began college.
I spent my four years of undergrad building Ella’s Etchings and balancing a lifestyle as a full-time student, tattooing, playing soccer, and spending time with friends. I graduated from UTK in Summer 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts and a minor in Entrepreneurship.
I have been at Golden Heart Tattoo Co in Seymour, TN, since 2022, where I have created hundreds of tattoos and memories with my clients and coworkers. I specialize in fine-line and black and grey tattoos. I enjoy tattooing plants, animals, ornamental work, script, and so much more.

Meet Arlington
Arlington is my psych and medical alert service dog from Paws4People, an organization based in Wilmington, NC. I spent a portion of my fall 2024 going to Wilmington to train with Arlington and the Paws4People staff. It took almost a year to get her, but it has been so worth it!
Arlington is trained to do many tasks for me, but most importantly, she is my best friend. I brought her home in December 2024, and since then, she has brought so much peace, love, and laughter into my life. When she’s on duty, she is attentive, observant, and the most calming presence.
At your tattoo appointment, you will also get to meet Arlington! She loves to bring her toys as an offering of her friendship. Her favorite things include playing soccer, swimming, chewing bones, and receiving butt scratches.
